I made some flower cake pops for a friends birthday so I thought I would share them with you..Let me tell you they smell so yummy White colour and vanilla fondant I can't believe they made it to Bernie's without me eating them.The rose's also have cake in the middle with fondant petals around each one all handmade by me they were so much fun to make and will make more of these for sure.

Hi all some exciting news The Scrapping Outback Blog is holding it's first and hopefully monthly challenge. The first challenge is real simple just create a card or LO with 1 piece of Chipboard and using Ink or Paint easy..Link your creation and you could win a very cute digi stamp.

hi all it's been a little while since my last post I am a really bad blogger sorry..I have a couple of cards and LO's to share this time.

First up is my DT Kit from Scrapping Outback if you would like to reproduce these LO's you can buy the kit from Scrapping Outback and there are full instruction's with step by step photo's.You also get tthe step by step's for the Stained glass Window technique.

Scrapbook Apprentice Announcement

Well the Scrapbook Aprentice Competition has finally come to an end and the Magazine is out and I can now announce the winner is ME I have been keeping it a secret for a couple of weeks and it has been killing me so I am Australia's first Scrapbook Apprentice so I will be designing pages etc for the Do Crafts Creativity Magazine for 12 months..
It was a long and very tough competition I was up against some very talented scrapper's Mel Connell,Chantal Vandenberg and Shandell Hawkshaw Thanks for a great competition ladies I loved every minute of it..

For the last round we had to Showcase Acetate so here is what I created
Firstly I did a 12x12 LO and Embossing the Acetate used a Glitter Technique on part of the stamped image The stamps are from the Woodland Folks Stamp Set from DO Crafts and the paper is from an A4 paper pack called Blueberry Hill

Here is another LO I did with the Blueberry A4 paper pack and a Stained Glass Window Technique on the Acetate.

Here is a card I made using acetate of course.

And last of all is a Shoe I made using the Blueberry Hill Paper range I have made an Acetate box for it to sit in and used a Hot Acetate technique on the flower's

Wow can you believe we are in April already this year is just flying by and who here are a few DT projects I have completed for this month first off here is my creation from my Scrapping Outback Mini DT Kit

Heart Shaped Easel Card

Hi Lovely people today I am going to share with you a Heart Shaped Easel card I made with a Penny Johnson Clear stamp called Love Bubbles now available at Deb's Creations I have coloured my image with copic's ,Distressed my paper a little I even dusted off my sewing machine and used that on this card.So here is a picture of my card

Vampire Cake

Here is a Vampire Cake that I have made today for my sister she is a really big fan of Vampire books she loved the Sookie Stackhouse novels so I decided to do a mouth with a set of Fangs and some blood spattered roses so here it is I hope she likes it..
Everything on the cake is handmade by me and you can eat everyting..The lips are made from a cake that I cut into the right shape then covered in Red Icing..The roses and leaves and made for Royal Icing..

Here is a cute little fry box i have made you can get the template for the box here And you can get the Digi image called Ally and Beeble from Deb's Creations
I got the idea for the lollies on a stick from Rachelle I got something very similar for christmas from here so Thanks Rach For the little roses I used my Martha Steward scalloped edge Circle punch made the same way as a scroll flower the only difference is I turned back some of the edges of the flower to make them look like rose's then added some Kindy Glitz over the top..

Here is a cute little magnetic notebook holder I made just for the bloghop.This is going to make a great Christmas pressie for my sister.It is real easy to make so if you are stuck for a stocking stuffer or maybe a teacher's present then you might want to keep this in mind.I have used a piece of cardboard from a box for the base and covered it in Pattern Paper then attached a notebook I got from the Dollar Shop and the added a Chipboard Swirl and Stamped Image and flowers to decorate it a bit.I have painted a wooden clothes peg and attached to act as my pen/pencil holder to easy and FUN to make.

My Mum Canvas

Here is a little canvas I did ,the picture is of my Mum when she was 18mths old she was the cutest baby...Why do we have to grow up??
I have used the backside of the canvas some gorgeous Graphic 45 Papers some yummy Dusty Attic Chippie which I have inked and then added metallic rubons and the stamp is called Tilda with Lamb she is a magonlia stamp and is just the sweetest thing with the lamb I have used flower soft and the image has been coloured with water colour pencils.

Twiddleybitz Challenge

I have used some Rusty Pickle Chocolate Covered Cherries paper, Twiddleybitz Cherry on the leaves Chipboard and an old photo frame.I have inked ,embossed and glittered my chipboard I made the cupcake from paper which has been accordian folded for the patty part and then I used my circle punch and a piece of a foam ball for the icing part.I just love this paper lots of great things to cut out...Thanks for popping in I hope you have a great week.

Mountain and Valley Fold Card

This is ny first attempt at a Mountain and Valley fold card using a Stamp from Deb's Creations called Puppy Kiki I just love this stamp she is soooo Cute!
I coloured my image with Tim Holtz Distress Ink 'Vintage Photo' and a water brush tried to make it look like a sepia photo and I used some gorgeous Graphic 45 papers to give my card a Vintage Feel.

Such a Doll

This is my 2nd cousin Annastacia she is the cutest llittle thing and reminds me of a Little Doll so I just had to do a LO with the very cute CC Design Stamp Called Rosalie with Roses available from Deb's Creation's Here.I have stamped her on white cardstock and coloured her with Watercolour pencils and the other one I stamped on Shrinky Dink and coloured her with Marvy Pens and then heated her up and presto she is now very cute and tiny looking like a little doll.The paper's I have used are from Crate Paper you can get them from Scrapping Outback Here.I hope are all having a lovely week Thanks for poppin in..

If you would like to stay all day and then have dinner and take part in a couple of classes 1 which will be taught by little ole me then this will cost $60.00 with nothing else to pay..You will be given the kits with everything in them to complete an OTP a LO and a Kaiser Kit which has lots of product for you do lots with.

The first card I have used a stamp from Wags n Whisker's called 'A Good Book'.With this card I wanted to something a little different and seeing as my niece is just starting to read big girl books she is in need of a bookmark so I have included the bookmark as part of my card Here is a picture of it
You just pull the bookmark out of the little pocket at the end of the card

and the second card is one again from Wags n Whisker's called 'Lets Go Team' she is just so cute and she brings a smile to my face everytime I look at her..On this card I cut the Pom Pom's out of tissue paper in layers and fluffed them up to look like pom poms and make some tissue paper flowers to go with it.I also used lots of Kindy Gliltz and blilng.

Round 1 has just been published in the new Docrafts Creativity magazine issue 21 and my creations were the judges Top Pick WoooooooooooooooHoooooooooooooooooooooo all so very exciting now it is open to the public to vote but still not sure where you have to go to do so there is a little info about it here if you want to check it out.I will keep ypu all posted I hope you are having a fantastic week my week has started off FANTASTICLY..lol

Another Card

Using a CC Design stamp for Deb's Creations her name is Puppy Kiki she is so Cute ..I have the left the front of the card blank so I can give it for any occasion all I have to do is add the appropriate sentiment on the inside...I have coloured her in with water colour pencils and then clear embossed over the top I have used Kaiser paper's and Prima Flowers..

A card using a CC Design Stamp

I got this stamp from Deb's Creations she is so Cute she is a CC Design Stamp and her name is Miss Rosalie with Roses you can find here
I have made the Rose's and there is a little tutorial over at Deb's Creations Here
I have seen lots of tutorial's on the net making these flower's and I thought I would share the way that I make them so if you are interested then pop over to Deb's Creations and have a little looksie.
So here is the card I made using Kaszazz paper's, misc ribbon, misc rose's and leaves and of course some handmade Rose's from Kasazza paper and I used my cuttlebug with a sizzix Ornate Frame.
I have used a mix of water colour pencils ,Ink and Chalks to colour in my stamped image.Thanks so much for popping in and have a wonderful week.

Here is a layout of my gorgeous niece looking at herself in the mirror I have used BG paper and alpha's and Dusty Attic chipboard frame now available at Scrapping Outback check them out here this chipboard is just amazing the detail is just incredible.I have also made some tissue paper flowers you can find a great tutorial from Annette here these flowers are just gorgeous once you have tried them you will use them lots..I used coloured tissue paper and water for my flowers just a little different from the tutorial just so if you don't have Glimmer Mist you can still make them.Hope you have a wonderful day and Thanks for Looking.

A Layout with a photo of my gorgeous second cousin Annastacia she is just so adorable..I have used some Bo Bunny paper's and some yummy Chipboard which I painted white some misc rose's and Mum's crocheted flowers.
I hopefully will be able to share my exciting news very soon just waiting for the site to announce.

Challenge You Kit examples and a Technique

I have just finished my examples with the challenge YOU Kit available at Scrapping Outback
Here is a stamped image that I coloured in with watercolour pencils and then lots of Clear Embossing Powder....Here is what I did to get the Broken Glass look ..
Firstly stamp your image and colour in .My stamp is from Impressive Stamps Australia
Then apply Clear Embossing powder over the top heat with a heat gun I have applied
5 Coats.Please be very careful when embossing I have a lovely little burn on my finger..
After you have done your last coat and you are happy with the depth place your piece in the freezer leave it in there for about 10 mins .
After you have removed it from the freezer take your piece and bend it until it cracks.
That is it you are now done..Enjoy I hope you like this is not my technique I am sure it has been around for years but it is really cool.

I have been playing in photoshop with some Actions Thanks so much Sandra for hanging in there and talking me through it...Putting Actions into photoshop not as easy as I thought it would be I was nearly in tears saying to Sandra on the other end of the phone I don't have that to click on but we got it in the end and I love the Actions I have downloaded so far from Coffee Shop

This month I got some gorgeous Rusty Pickle Shazaam Papers to play with they are so cute Love the little heroes and the colours.
First up Alyssa loves Grandad's Hat I handmade the rose's with the Rusty Pickle Shazaam trim.

Three Cards I made

I have been blog hopping and found some very inspirational Norwegian card marker's these cards are inspired by them.Thank you ladies for sharing your creations.
I have used stamps available from Impressive Stamps Australia and Flower Soft..This is the first time I have used flower soft and I must say it is fantastic I love it!
Thank you all very much for leaving me such lovely comments about my Master's Entries I loved reading them all.I will be doing it all over again this year I just loved the process.
Here are three of my cards ..
here is my E as ter Bunny card made with Kaiser Blushed papers. Birthday card is made with Kaiser Garden Arabesque papers and Kaiser flower's and pearls.. Lastly is my Best Wishes card made with Kaiser Loire Valley papers.

Scrapbooking Memories Master's Projects

Well now the masters have been announced I can now share my projects with you all
firstly I would like to say Congratulations to all the Master's and Congratulations to everyone that got an Honourable Mention

First up is my Shaped LO

Next up my least favourite enrty I hate doing LO's on me

My Double LO using Chipboard available from Scrapping Outback.

And last but no means least I Got an Honourable Mention with my Mystery Project
I decided to do a canvas but used the wrong side with lots of Lace and I handmade the roses and the Archway from clay.This was my favourite project and I am so pleased and excited to get an Honourable Mention and it will be my first publication!!!!

I got the idea for these wall hanging's from Rachelle Minett you can see a set of step by step instructions her wall hanging over at Scrapping Outback here

Jack's Wall hanger I have used the new Shazaam paper from Rusty Pickle the little super heroes are just the cutest.At the moment Jack's favourite movie is Night at the Museum 2 and he loves the saying Boom boom fire power so I have inclued that on his hanger.

Alyssa's Wall hanger I have used Rusty Pickle popstar paper and Rusty Pickle alpha stickers.

Here is a LO with a picture of Annastacia and her very proud daddy..I have handmade the quilled paper Rose's which I just love making and my mum crochet(sp) the white flowers for me they are just so gorgeous I have got her to make me lots in all different colours can't wait to use them..
This is also my challenge that I have set over at Scrapping Outback for the It's beginning to look alot like christmas Competition.

I am taking part in a competition called the Scrapper of Oz and I won this week with my Doors Doors Doors LO.You had to do a LO on your most hated chore and the French doors really are a pain to clean so here is my LO I have used white bazzil,Tara mini roses,Prima Flowers,Kaiser pearls,Rusty Pickle Alphabet stickers.I love these little roses they are so cute.

Another Canvas

I have made another canvas I just love this and it is a great way to use your chipboard pieces I also just bought a mould and used it for the first time on this canvas it is the small flower.I pressed some Fimo clay in it then painted it black and applied some Metallic Rubons to highlight the pattern.Thanks for popping in and have a great day.
