Scrapping Outback Blog Hop

                                        Welcome to the
                              Chime in with Chipboard

If you arrived here from Trudi’s blog
You are on the right track! You are now at Julie’s blog!

We are hopping from blog to blog to learn all about chipboard and to get inspired with awesome tutorials and layouts loaded with chippies!

Welcome to my blog

I hope you are having Fun and drawing loads of inspiration from the Hop
Today I have created a special Layout for the Blog hop using Chipboard and a little
Chipboard Technique incorporating Lace  I  hope you enjoy my little tutorial

So let’s start with a tutorial:

For this technique I have used a large piece of chipboard I have chosen a Frame so I could use the part you normally pop out

a Multi Medium
and Lace
Here is a picture of what I have used

First step paint your chipboard piece any colour you like I have used White paint
After your paint has dried cut a piece of lace just a little bit bigger then your chipboard piece and lay over the top

Now apply a generous coat of your Multi Medium over the top and allow to dry
It will look very cloudy at this stage but don’t worry it will dry clear

Allow to dry this may take several hours

Then apply colours to your piece to match your LO I have used Glimmer Mists and paint to get the desired effect
But the list is endless as to what you can apply over the top
I have used 2 different Coloured Glimmer Mists and paint to highlight the raised areas of the lace
You can use any colour lace and any colour paint and Glimmer Mists you like even Black Lace would look very effective just imagine this technique on a Mini Album you
could do each Chipboard Page with this technique

Now we have our chipboard piece ready to use on our LO here is a step by step if you would like to create one for yourself
You will need a White piece of cardstock and a piece of Pattern paper take your piece of

Pattern paper and using a decorative punch, punch along 2 sides

Now we have to treat the pattern paper a little bit with some glimmer mists and a stencil or a piece of chipboard to create the background I have used a WOW Chicken Wire with Butterflies on my LO so I used the same piece to create the Chicken Wire effect on the backgroud
Just place it on your paper randomly and spray

Then to add more Lace to my LO I cut 5 slits in my pattern paper
I then sprayed my lace with Glimmer Mist to match my LO when dried I adhered them To my LO

Next I painted my Chipboard frame and added a piece of contrasting paper to the centre
                                                      And adhered to my LO
                                                        Adhere your Photo
Now the fun part add your  treated Chipboard and Blooms and    Butterflies to your
                                                             LO until hearts content
and don’t forget a Chipboard Title  and Chipboard accents
All of my chipboard pieces Title,Chicken wire and frame have been painted white
                                                 Here is my finished LO
